I watched a news clip of some guy saying that we're going to have a new monetary system in a couple of years. Is this true? If so, is that a bunch of BS or what???

Actually, there is a plan to make the sizes if the different bills larger as the amount goes up. This is being brought up by blind people who have no way of differentiating between bills. From what I have read, it is fairly common that cashiers in various stores take advantage of blind people who either give the wrong change , or give the change for a smaller bill amount. Blind activists have been behind this for some time. Since the inception of the new bills, there is talk of also implementing this plan as well.

It does seem fair. They say it would be cheaper than possibly placing braile(sp.) on currency

The US money system has changed a few times in as many years. Most Americans have no clue at all, that the money changed, but it has. The present money system, is a system of completely fake money. Americans are to simple minded to ever figure it out however. Will the money system change again, it may, an if it does millions will never notice.

It's a lie...people have tried to bring out silver backed currencies and, although a good idea, has not been accepted by the mainstream.
