Why does the fact that he's "African-American" have to do with your question? If you've fuked any race of man in the past the approach is the same. Most men love free and easy pu$$y whether it's red, white, black, white, blue, or green.
So, the best way is the direct way... don't beat the bush, let him know what's up. Let him *** and get your first experience with an African-American.
