I HAVE A NEW LAPTOP. AND WHEN I TRY TO CONNECT MY NETWORK IT SAYS"THE NETWORK IS ALREDY CONFIGURED" THE NETWORK IS NOT PROTECTED IT'S JUST NOT RECONIZING IT

Go to your router and assign DHCP instead of Static IP Addressing.

try going into your wireless network connection window where it says " Wireless Network COnnection Properties" and go to the general tab.
Where it has a box with checks in it make sure all of them are checked. Also it might be a router problem so try turning it off then back on after a minute. Just a Thought.....

Do not know what OS or equipment you are using but the security features of your router and computers are likely preventing conection. You may have to find the MAC of your new laptop and enter into your router etc before it will recognize it. Best to check the help files for your router,computer network and laptop to find out the procedure for adding new units to the network.

Install the drive that is given with the notebook. Or else buy and external wireless device and try to install. You can also try by going to network connection click on properties and set it to obtain IP address automatically .
