there is no hood release pull thing like in modern vehicles, and i need to know how does the hood open, is there anyone who couls shed some light here?

in the front of the truck stick your hand through the grill and pop the lever.just like you would if it had a release inside ,JUST SKIP ONE STEP .IT MY TAKE ALOT OF PRESSURE

hey im bilzer master mechanic
i also have a chev 1990 blazer s15


i could go out and look but its pretty basic
a chevy should have a hood release cable
on inside under the steering columb
just to the right of the brake pedal


in absence of that ther might be one inside the grill or under the grill to push pull or slide
it will pop up(the hood a fraction of a inch) then you have to move the secondary latch that prevents the hood from blowing up when your driving when the first latch fails

The hood release is on the left side of the firewall, next to the clutch pedal.
