Why were some Iraq ppl sad Sudam was hung?

how could they possibly be sad about that?

Because regardless of how evil some people are, it was still a human going to his death. There were also a lot of Sunnis who were sad because Saddam was a Suuni and for them he gained them a voice of power and they lost that as soon as the US invaded.
