if he's annoying, i don't see why you would be obligated to continue to be his friend. close friends don't annoy you all the time. maybe see him less, so he'll annoy you less...then you can still be friends, just not close friends.

I don't blame you for not wanting to talk to him as much but you probably should tell him in a nice way that he asks too many questions. Then maybe you won't mind hanging out with him.

You have a right to decide how you spend your own time, so you don't need to feel bad if you want to spend it away from him.
Perhaps, however, you should try telling him how you feel about his behaviour and mabye he will back off a bit.
