If I were in his shoes, I would of been shaking or showing some emotion of being scared!

anti depresents, are given here and maybe in his case as well to the person being executed, so that they dont fight.

Seditives are the norm in cases like a hanging. Saddam
struggled with his American Guards before being handed over to the Iraqis and he had fear in his eyes, before being led to the gallows and then he seemed to calm down
before the Noose was put around his neck!!!!

He probably took a pill to calm his nerves. I honestly don't know how I would react. I know how I would like to react, but one is never sure until they are wearing the shoes.

if you are on his side i am not trying to affend you, but this guy is a stupid crazey lunatic. He murdered hundreds of people. seriously, who cares about a person who leads his contry like that?? plus wouldnt you be embarassed that everyone in the world gets to see youre last moments alive.

I wouldn't be able to stand on my own two feet.
I think they might have given him a sedative.
However, he had an extremely strong personality, and it may be that he just did it by force of will.

Because at least he wasn't going to get tortured the way he tortured people. He knew he was getting off easy AND being turned into a martyr to boot.

I would be worrying about where I am going to spend eternity! The hanging took very little time. He has bigger worries now! Like having to explain why he murdered his people.............yikes!
