If I need to put a picture ontop of another how do I do it? Do I need to open the two pictures at once? When I do the first picture closes. Please make a list after you finish explaining. Thanks

open the first picture , move it over a bit , then open the other one , pick the picture that you want , don't forget like i have just done click on the move tool click on the picture holding down drag the picture onto the other one and this will then form a new layer and you will have they two pictures together on different layers, if you want some free learning stuff they do pod casts on itunes they are good i have learned quiet a lot from them but i am just learning my self

take the smaller picture and select all and copy. close the window. open the larger picture. paste. move to correct position. then if you want, you can make that picture a certain level of opaque (from 0% to 100%) to show through. When you are done you must "flatten layers" in order to save in a normal picture format and not an adobe format.

1.Open one of the pictures and make a new blank layer.
2.Copy the other picture and paste it into the blank layer.
3.Chang the -Opacity- of the second picture so you can see the first one behind it.

-To paste the 2nd picture into the blank layer, have the layer selected, then hold CTRL V. Instead of right clicking or anything.

hope this works for you!
