Cub fan speaking out for Albert Pujols....that man got robbed of the MVP and I am the biggest Cub fan you'll ever meet. Guys like Bonds and Howard win the homerun MVP. Albert led his so so team into and through the playoffs. He is more VALUABLE to HIS TEAM than any other player in baseball.
And I do hope you are kidding, since when does a .270 avg. and 76-85 team even get a guy a half an MVP vote.
Ya i know your kidding...I hope....ya you gotta be.

because of the fact Barry Larkin became the main expensive participant interior the national League that 365 days offensively and defensively, and all around - (assuming pitchers do no longer count selection). If pitchers do count selection, then Greg Maddux ought to have gained in a landslide. All those different potential hitters named do no longer tournament up with a gold glove shortstop which may additionally make a contribution offensively. The award isn't referred to as "maximum homestead Runs hit" or "perfect potential Hitter" or despite else. Pitchers aside, in 1995's NL, if I have been given my %. of any participant that 365 days to start a team with, i might probable %. Barry Larkin considering the fact it is fee. 30 HR / ninety RBI adult adult males are a dime a dozen. what number gold glove shortstops additionally scouse borrow 50 bases and furnish a sprint pop of their very own? Barry Bonds could be a large outfielder, yet back, there's a ton of effective outfielders, and regrettably for him, the Pirates have been awful for a protracted time. i might quite have Tony Gwynn, a minimum of he wasn't on 'roids. As somebody else stated, Bichette performed in Mile extreme air, inspect Dante's #'s outdoors of Coors field, especially useful he became on 'roids too. good catchers are a sprint harder back with the aid of, Piazza however, became a DH in conceal considering the fact that a countrywide league team got here approximately to very own him. Piazza became probable between the worst protecting catchers ever. surpassed balls left and suitable, and could no longer throw a runner out attempting to scouse borrow to shop his existence. Chipper Jones wasn't on the scene yet even however he became into an extremely good 3B in a protracted time. i do no longer see everybody with a plenty case extra helpful than Larkin that 365 days for MVP different than Maddux. extra complicated to me is why some dumb author used their 1st place MVP vote on Ron Gant that 365 days???

Are you joking? He would be lucky to escape prison time. He has already set the record for MVP's won, even though he didn't deserve any of them. He is a cheater, moreover, his attitude sucks just as much. He is a disgrace to the game, and he epitomizes everything that is wrong with not just the MLB, but baseball in general. It is even more pathetic that MLB continues to let him play, yet Pete Rose and the rest of the 1919 White Sox are banned for life. Bonds is a cancer to baseball, and we need to find the cure.

I think you meant some other player. Bonds was never in the running for any kind of award last year.

As for the AL MVP. Jeter and Mauer got robbed that's for sure.

No. Regardless of the steroid controversy, he was injured most of the year and didn't contribute to his team like an MVP should.

Not a lot of RBIs, his team didn't finish first or second in its division, not a lot of homeruns and he's a jerk that the press hates. The fact that he had an amazing OBP doesn't make up for his lack of performance in other areas.

The bigger question...

Will Barry Bonds rob the home run record of Hank Aaron because he "allegedly" used steroids and Aaron didn't?
