Are you seeking a metaphore in order to provide literative perspecitve or to actually describe the true size and shape of an object?

In the former instance, it is up to your imagination to make a comparison. To get some ideas, read some newspaper columnists that do commentary. Sometimes you can find some interesting comparisons of this type by sports columnists.

If on the other hand you are seeking to truely describe actual size, then remember that we live in a world of three dimensions. Length and width will give you area and adding height will give you volume. So, there you have it...length, width, height, area, and volume.

A snowplow the size of Texas? Are you trying for grammatical or visual here?

He was so strong, he could bench press a Buick with his pinky. Not sure if this is what you meant. Hope it helps.
