I heard you enter them when the game is paused. What button is pause to enter the cheats by? Note this game is regular Sims 2 not Sims 2 Pets. Please only answer if you know for sure. Thanks!

This is for PS2. How do we enter the cheats? What button for pause?

Press Ctrl-Shift-C and a window at the top of you screen pops up. Write Expand and it will become larger. Then enter the cheat codes as many times as you wish. You many enter press Esc or type exit to return to the normal screen.
Tips: Motherlode gets you 50,000 simoleons and Kaching gets you 1,000 simoleons

You use the regular pause button that you would use to pause the game. Then hit Shift, Ctrl and C at the same time. You will see a white text bar at the top of the screen. Enter your cheat and hit the Enter button. Done.

the same buttons work for all Sims2 game, on computer it's I think shift+Ctrl+Alt+C, I hope that helps for ya!!!
I love Sims2 games, the first time I played it, it was like SO different from the 1st sims

u have to buy a cheat trophy... the code for that is L,R,UP,A,Z during game play
