This guy affected my life more than any other celebrity, famous person, etc in a long time. He was a trerrific person and I still cry when they talk about him or I see his precious family. We love you Steve. You will be loved for many years to come.

DO I STILL MISS STEVE IRWIN? WELL THAT TO ME IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. STEVE IRWIN WAS MORE THAN JUST A FAMOUS PERSON OR CELEBRITY HE WAS A FATHER, SON, BROTHER, ETC. AND A MIN-TOUR THAT WAS LIKED BY SO MANY PEOPLE. HE ENCOURAGED YOU AND MADE YOU FEEL LIKE EVEN THE DEADLIEST ANIMAL WAS STILL TO BE LIKED. HE MADE YOU REALISE THAT ALL ANIMALS WERE GOOD ANIMALS REGARDLESS OF THERE NATURE. I MYSELF WILL MISS HIM TREMENDOUSLY. RIP STEVE! WE ALL MISS YOU!!!

Yeah I still miss him. When I first heard that he died I thought it was some type of sick joke. I'll be watching his show and realization hits that he's dead and I cry. He really changed how people viewed all the "viscious" animals out there. He was such a great inspiration to so many. I hope one day we will see his daughter and son along with their mother on their own show. R.I.P. Steve Irwin.

I miss the man, and the positive effects he has had on the Herp community. However I do not miss the fact that because of him a lot of people thought they knew more about reptiles than they did. This caused many many people to try to emulate his actions and made many people get hurt, but worse than that, a lot of people caught wild Reptiles and didn't know how to really take care of them and the creatures suffered and died.

I also started watching him before he became famous, he never changed.
Maybe Bindi and Bob (I think that is the childrens names) will take over the family business.
I miss him, and I didn't really even know him. Some people have that affect on you.

God, I miss him soo much. More than most of my gone family. But really he was kinda family. He was part of my large reptile family. ^,^ In a way. I learned alot from him and I know at every reptile show I go to in the future and every time all of my reptile people are gathered together we will all remeber him. If youd like to send something to his family, we have an ongoing forum for you to post on and eventually we will mesh all the pots together and send it to his family. the link is here.

Many of the people I know and my own closest family have met him and worked with him with the reptiles. We will always miss him. It takes alot to get over something like that. I get soo angered at people who say anything bad about him like how its wrong to go catch wild animals and show them. They really dont know what its like. They dont know how to learn and how to see the great in the wild. How to learn from his actions and learn from the encounters with him. He was an extremly nice guy. Very likeable and always had a smile on his face. Thank you for making this post. As I am realitivly new to this site its good to see someone who cares to the extent you do , like us. Thank you.

He impacted me in a big way too. I was so upset when I heard of his death and I cried for hours. I can't even watch his show on animal planet since it's too sad. I miss him and the world is never going to have someone replace him.

Oh yes... he made such an impact on me, by the way he lived his life and the way he treated not only animals, but people too. He lived with honor and dignity and made such a difference in the world.
He is gone to soon, and it makes me so sad. Hopefully, one day, it will make sense...but today, his passing doesnt make sense, and is so unfair.

Yea. i still miss him. he did sooo many things. it is really depressing that such a great guy is gone. he inspired so many children. he made the deadliest of animals seem cute and cuddly. he opened up the world for children everywhere.
