if ur using clumping or clay cat litter, its the dust... cat litter isn't recommended for ferts, paper litter is, but if u use cat litter (like i do) the best to get is the cheap stuff with bigger pieces, the smaller grain clumping kind has too much dust, & they can sniff the small particles up into their noses, which can cause serious health problems, maybe even death if they get really blocked up, so try switching litters again to something with less dust & not small pieces
p.s.--- dont try pine or things like that, there are toxins in there harmful to ferts!

First of all....no wood, wood products, wood by-products, or anything that looks, smells, and/or feels remotely like wood. Wood+Ferret=Bad. To be on the extremely safe side, I would use a litter that is made just for ferrets. It might cost a little more than cat litter, but can we really put a price on our carpet sharks' safety?
About the sneezing, I understand your concern. My girlfriend and I used to get really worried when her ferret, Cali, would start to sneeze a lot. We thought it meant she was sick. However, sneezing isn't a cause for concern unless it is accompanied by other symptoms like runny nose and laziness. If your fuzzy does exhibit these behaviors,or something more serious, then it might be time for a vet visit.
When you think about it, ferrets use their noses to learn about and explore their environments, so it's natural that their noses might get a little clogged up every now and then because they smell everything. And, since ferrets don't use Kleenex (at least not that I've seen) the only way to unclog their nose is....you guessed it......ACHOO!!
I hope I've been helpful, and don't worry too much about the sneezing...so long as it's only sneezing. :)

that never happened w/ my ferrets, but maybe undo all of the recent changes for a while. It could also be the weather.
