Go to you tube and play your favorite song. I was just watching Indian dances and songs since my new year's program got cancelled and I am alone today.

sweety im so sorry to hear that you are depressed. what are you so depressed about? i have to be honest with you i have been in your shoes and kinda still am. i mean your so caught in the middle that you do want to go outside but you dont want to face the solitude all by yourself but in some deep way solitude is what keeps you safe.

i can start by saying no one will understnd you but you... you begin to make yoursel your best friend. i found that most of my works (writitngs) were best when i was depressed! i also found sewing/stiching, etc as a good hobby... this may seem very childish but sometimes you will have to draw a tomb around your self to protect you.

TRY RENTING MOVIES THAT ARE EXCITING AND ARE LONG LIKE (lord of the rings trilogy) or (lion the witch and the wardrobe)..yES!!! cartoons will help out and movies that will take you far away although movies are movies and not real all the time they do help.

also take time to pamper yourself like paint your nails and fix your hair also you can do somethng like soak in a nice hot bath and put some oil in it, and light some candles... i have learned that there is always a way to live evn though other people will put you down!!! others will back you into a corner sometimes it is bette rnot to have to fight..

even the best fighters need a break fromj life and from friends and from family. its okay to feel depressed but its not okay to let those feelings hender you. when you begin to feel this way write about and ananlyz the way you feel... i hope u arent in a situation where you are dependent on someone, because if that is the case you will need more than you..you wil need a counselor, and extra curricular activiteis

There are some online counseling web sites available. there's also mental health and suicide hotlines you can call 24 hours a day. know for a fact that there's 1-800-SUICIDE. I'm not sure why you can't leave the house.

If you are a child and you are being abused you need to call the police. If you are an adult and are just house bound you can try those hotlines or get together with a therapist online and talk on there or on the phone.

Exercise is helpful along with improving your diet. Exercise can be as effective as medication for depression.

How you feel about anything is pretty much up to you. You can't control the universe but you can control your reaction to it. So learn to love yourself, learn to honor yourself and to accept yourself as the great and wonderful person you really are. Accept yourself without judgment and you can find comfort in coming to a greater understanding of who you are and where you are in the universe. Read. Explore the Internet. Exercise. If you are really depressed look into counseling. Are you house-ridden, unable to physically leave because of physical reasons or are you restricted by parents, the courts or others? If restricted, and you're an adult, the restrictions may be illegal. If restricted and you're a minor, your parents pretty much have the control. If restricted because of medical reasons, then see above.

It is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery. Also they do not know who tehy are in reality. I am sorry to tell you this. You need someone to support you and you must see a psychiatrist. You are going to need anti depressant medicines. I have been in your shoes. I have found a group which I joined who were also like you and I and that worked for me. I still see a Dr. now but not as offen as I did but I am also on anti depressants. You need to get yourself to a Dr. Let me tell you it is nothing to be ashamed of.

Get an online friend who cares! Chat on line. There are people to talk to and there are way to analyse how depressed you really are, mildly or clinically. I like to listen to the radio station KAXE.org. Its an indepent radio station that really makes me appreciate life and they stream on the internet. Look it up in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. I'm not depressed after listening to their music.

Read encouraging things online, think positive thoughts, find a good chatroom with positive people in it, play a computer game, watch a favorite movie, listen to favorite music, exercise, and pray.

Try to find a hobby u really like to do and make it for the person u love. I like to make embroideries and I make pillows and place mats or napkins. I love to do this for other persons .They make great gifts and they are handmade by me instead of store bought.
Or I listen to music that is upgrading.
