I feel like celebrities are the only people who have something in life. I don't obsess over Hollywood, but I do believe they are the truly successful human beings on earth. Please voice out your opinions.

Ok, 90% of those other people are lying, no one can say they don't look up to celebs AT ALL. I admit we only see the good in their lives, so we do think that they have it all good. I know I wanna be rich and have pretty dresses, but like you I don't obsesses over hollywood but their lives do LOOK pretty good.

Puhleez. Celebrities. They have nothing but celebrity. Think about this, all the celebrities are doing is playing the role of ordinary or even extraordinary people like all of us writing here. They play roles of stories that real people live. And besides, what celebrity out there is really worth being looked up to??? Only a handful for certain. The truly successful human beings on earth are the ones that make a difference by living their lives fully; by being good friends, brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers; by living their passion; by reaching out to others -- and if that means they are a nobel prize winner, good for them, and if that means they are a clerk in a grocery store, good for them. Success should never be measured by celebrity but by how you live.

I feel as if celebrities are people just like everyone else. They have special talents that got them in there place but they still like to be treated like humans not something other than that.

I would probably have to say no but I might look up to some celebrities but defininetly not a female because all of the celebrities in the tabloids are mostly females like stupid Lindsay Lohan.

I do, but only those who acknowledge the fact that THERE IS A world outside of Hollywood- like angelina jolie and brad pitt..

Only if they do good works. I find that looking up to people like Mother Theresa has a little more depth.

No,I view them as just people making a living to entertain us.They are human like us and make the same mistakes.We are the ones that try to turn them into role models and are then disappointed when they aren't perfect.

no. people who look up to celebs often obsess over them. and then they become posers and sheep. the world would have no induviduality if it was like that. wait a minute, thats already the case. besides, you dont have to have all the money in the world to be happy.

I look up to celebrities.... ONLY when I am stuck in the front row at the movie theater. They are just people.
