Your note is way too long, but I did read and here are my thoughts. - Kicking in the groin is a low blow. I realize this is a self-defence course and he should have been wearing protection, but you should have been absolutely sure that he was wearing it before performing such a move. - Scolding him for not wearing protection was inappropriate. Making the infertility joke was not in the best taste, but you were just trying to lighten up the situation. - Your own doctor was fine (ven if she is a young female) as long as he was comfortable with her. - You should not have been present while he was examined. I thought that once children are over the age of 16, parents were not allowed to be present and doctors are not allowed to discuss treatment without the child's consent. Maybe things are different where you live. - You should not have discussed his injury in front of anyone else, male or female without his permission. You probably shouldn't even be discussing it here without his permission, but too late for that - you've asked this question at least 5 times in the last 2 days here... JUST STOP, MOM! - Don't discuss it with him (unless he brings it up) or anyone else anymore and get a new partner in self-defence class.

People may smile, grimace, talk to friends, laugh, lie in bed, sleep, be quiet or moan when in pain. Research has repeatedly shown that many people experiencing pain deliberately smile or laugh, either to help themselves cope with the pain or to try and hide it from others
