I use Nero Express. Is it my cd burner, the drivers or a currputed software?

You probably need higher grade CDs or a clean lens. The first song is on the part of the CD that goes the fastest, so if you don't have good CDs or the recorder is going bad, that's the song that will go bad first.

One of the things most users forget is not to do anything else whilst performing a CD burn, it can cause corruptions.
Also check your burner, run a cleaning cd thru it to make sure the head is clean. You might want to try a different brand of blank CD's to see if its the disks.
Re-install Nero, and see if it still persists, if it does it could be to do with your drive, or your PC itself.

could be u downloaded the song not knowing it could be corrupted or poorly burned media also defective disk yeah it could be your cd burner or the software..Nero express isnt that good either it has bugs in it try using different media and see if that helps
