Its about 11 characteristically shallow, obtuse, and dull-witted anime teens with magenta, cyan, lemon, burnt umber, crimson, tangerine, purple, cobalt, lime, periwinkle and steel-gray hair, respectively, that must use the untapped power of their stereotypically youthful souls (that are really reincarnated japanese mythological figures) to fight the evil Shocoktoyu and his legion of undead minions, one of whom is actually the crimson-haired teen's true father, who's spirit can't rest until the arcane prism of knowledge has been reassembled, and of course its broken up into a zillion tiny pieces that are scattered all over the place and guarded by the rival ninja teen force that hates the 11 because...
