No, actually, all summer I have had a fan on, and now I can't sleep without the noise. The silence is weird. So it is the end of December and I still sloe with a fan at night.

Well, for the most part it doesn't bother me when my significant other is snoring softly, but when it is interspersed with gurgling sounds it gets on my nerves. I can't sleep with the tv or radio on but I enjoy the sound of a good loud thunder storm. In fact I always open my window if it is raining so I can hear it better as I drift off to sleep.

Yes, I can't sleep when someone's blasting Fergalicious interminably. But I can fall asleep to Moon River or When You Wish Upon a Star.

The only noise I can have is some music. Even then, when I am ready to really sleep, I need everything off.

Complete silence AND complete darkness.
(This is tough when the wife snores)

Quite the contrary - I must have the television on, it puts me back to sleep when I wake up.
