I have the ipod video i have lots of songs I don't want them on my ipod but I would like to keep them. I tried dragging the songs out and putting them into my library but it doesn't work. What can I do to keep them in itunes but out of my ipod?

the songs are stored in the my music folder on the computer by defalt to take the songs off your i-pod un check the song in your i-tunes libary then make sure that sink checked items only is checked and conect your i-pod it will adjust the content via your adjustments

lol that's easy.......all you have to do is "uncheck" the songs you don't want...like on the side of the song there is a checkbox with a check mark in it all u do is click on it to uncheck it. then update or sync your iPod and those songs won't be on there, but they will still be in your library.

somewhere on itunes they have this thing where u can like select the songs u want on ur ipod... sorry i dont really know where it is
