-CHO is aldehit group +_+ not bleach man

it is an aldehyde. it is polar, as the oxygen is quite elextronegative and will have a partial negative charge, while the hydrogen will have a partial positive charge. it will react as described above, or several other ways.

-CH=O is an aldehyde group. It can be oxidized to carboxyl, -COOH, or reduced to primary alcohol, -CH2-OH. It can combine spontaneously with one mole of alcohol such as ethanol to form a hemiacetal, -CH(OC2H5)*OH or heated with an acid catalyst to form an acetal, -CH(OC2H5)2. It can also combine with such amines as aniline, C6H5-NH2, to form a Schiff base, -CH=N-C6H5.
