I think stoning is the most painful. An organized group throws rocks or stones at the person being executed. The person is buried from the neck down with their head sticking out. Some people like to use small rocks or stones to make the process last longer, which equals more suffering. It remains in use in several Islamic countries, such as Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Afghanistan, and United Arab Emerates. Ugh, it's horrible!

A couple interesting ones so far.
Asker didnt specify as to the method having to be one currently used, one historically used, or one you just make up.
Drawn and quartered would be a hell of alot of pain but could kill or cause them to pass out pretty quick.
I havent heard of anyone being deep fryed.
Disembloweling ( such as happened to William Wallace as depicted in Braveheart ) would have to be very painful.
So would the rack, which is like a slow method of being drawn and quartered where you arms and legs are pulled and your body is stretched until your arms or legs are pulled out of joint and if contined of course torn off your body.
Some south american torturing which could be used as an execution is pretty nasty. I Have read about peruvian torture. a copper wire is shoved up a guys penis , and using that run electricity through his body.. some clench their teeth so hard they crack their teeth.

crucifixion. the muscles cramp from being in one position for so long. the body dehydrates and thirst is terrible. the head aches like a migraine. the fingernails dig into the palms because the nail between the radius and the ulna causes the nerve to tell the muscles to contract the fingers. the peg is pressing into the anus and the diaphragm cannot function so breathing is a problem. each breath requires you to raise yourself with your leg muscles and your arm muscles. tetanus sets in and causes lockjaw. eventually you suffocate to death or the tetanus toxiods kill you. this can take from one day to two weeks.

I personally think it would be the medieval process of being drawn and quartered. They would tie the legs of the accused to four different horses and make the horses run, thereby pulling the person to pieces.

To have your pee wee cut off and shown to you and watch it being thrown into a fire or fed to dogs , then be skined alive with a dull knife.

well believe it would be death by crucifiction.it take weeks for a person to die. you did not have to be nailed down either. the stretching of the body was painful.
