Mars is closest and so is Saturn's moon Titan, because it has liquid flowing on it. However none would actually support life. We will probably never know if there is another planet capable of supporting life though.

I think that NASA has decided that our own space stations are the next colonies.
There is no suitable place to "go live" other than where we are.

man......homo sapient.....is ideally suited for earth. whatever planet allows for life then the life that is there is suited for it.
it's all about the air/gas that we breath. no other planet that we know of has oxygen as it's atmosphere. Humans cannot survive without it.

Because:
carbon dioxide in atmosphere
frozen water in ice caps and/or maybe in soil
temperature variation overlaps Earth's
With greenhouses plants could be grown.
Plants would produce oxygen.

Mars, our nearest neighbours, if we can built some vacuum proof buildings filled with O2 then perhaps we can make it our next home..

within our solar system, mars, but its not like its close to being habitable. some of saturn and jupiter's moons would be a little better
