I have my desktop and my laptop networked together on a wireless router. When i get on yahoo games (multiplayer) on my laptop it runs fine but when I'm on in my laptop if someone tries to get in the same game on the desktop pc, the pc locks up, and the desktop pc gets booted off the internet all together. why does it do this? do you think it is just yahoo or something with the pc and what do i need to do to fix it?

Yahoo! will not allow two different users running under the same IP address to enter a game at the same time. The only way to do it is to find a seperate internet connection for one of the computers.

NAT is jacked up (network address translation) i had this problem with linksys routers and my only solution was to disable DHCP and manually specify my IP addresses. I would call your router manufacturer though, because it shouldn't do this.
