Wait. I'm not quite understanding your problem.

So, you bought a laptop with Windows installed. Did you install Linpus yourself?

Your previous question is kind of contradictory. Do you want to know how to install Linux, or do you want to know how to get to Windows or Linux when you turn on your machine. Please give some more information. I'll put this question on watch and give you more help if I can.

what are you trying to accomplish?

you're at the root command prompt of linux, if your goal is to install linux you're done!

You might want to install and configure xwindows though if this is for a regular end-user.
