Doesn't the turbo cause increased wear because of heat and such?

I love turbos
cars that dont come with turbos do funny things
when you add a turbo
cars like my nissan that come with trubos do funny things

not to confuse you, but you are adding more air
the more air you add the more fuel your cars computer adds to keep a balance callled stotiometry, some where under 1:14.7 thats one part fuel vapor to about 15 parts air

more air + more fuel = more heat
turbo makes lots more heat in cylinders
thats why we have pyrometer temprature gages
to tell us we are smoking not only our catalytic converter but erroding our turbocharger blades

get the picture brother man?

now a turbocharger spins faster the hoter it gets
and makes more air and this causes a cascade effect

we call this entropy in thermodynamics
the enevtable end of all mechanical parts due to thermal failure

the universe getting too cold a bazillion years from now and your exaust components from
not being able to contain the heat you generated from the race behind los angles county airport.

now im all for racing but there is a zen ballance
between racing and how long stuff lasts while racing

if you comit a car sin jesus will get you and your car will experence turbo hell

one catalytic converter has succumbed to the eternal turbo fires

you need to repent and appease the turbo gods with twenty hail marysturbo goddess of doom followed by copious amounts of cool down time

comprende' muchacho?

It should last a very, very long time. Probably will outlast the car.
