What could my husband (whom is an alcoholic) and I possibly do tonight since he has quit drinking for 3 weeks now? We can't go to any parties since he will be tempted to drink, and we cannot go to any bars for the same reason. We are bored to death here at home.

Go to the store and get some welches sparkling grape juice..looks like champagne and drink that also go out to dinner somewhere and have a nice romantic dinner..We are usually living in a large city and are in the middle of nowhere now..We will have a quite night somewhat like yours and maybe go by a friends house to eat but really just try to make it a nice quite romantic night and well its just another night no big deal . really what have you missed.. a bunch of people getting drunk getting into trouble.. so hope this helps
