There is two ways, one was trying F8 the other is the restore option that came with your computer on the Start menu. If your un able to get them to work, which is really strange. I am afraid there is not alot of help for that. The only other suggestion is going to the company who made your computer, and asking about purchasing Recovery disks, I think there around $20-$30.

I had a friend that had that problem some how her partition on D drive was screwed up. The only solution was to do a fresh install of Windows XP. You could also do that as well, but it's around $100 for Windows XP home edition, cheapeiest version.

Down side of just putting on Windows is you will loose all the software that came with your computer, such as Anti- virus programs, DVD, CD playing burning software. Alot of computers come with alot of stuff you don't need. But if your unfamilure with Computer getting the right Drivers for you computer will be tough.

I would just contact The company you got the system at, and purchase Reformat Disks.

This goes for everyone. If you buy a new system or get one, make sure it has the recovery disks, if not There is a program that comes with your computer, (Newer Version within a year or two)that will allow you to burn Rcovery Disks. to DVD's or CD's in case something happenes to your hard drive. Don't always asume your PC will always have the recovery program just on the Hard Drive. After ALL if you HD fails then your screwed.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
