i think one way 2 get ur name out on the internet world is 2 have a youtube w/ u singin....get a music myspace where u can have ur songs on ur page, have singers and producers on ur friend list also. Make sure it's a hott songs. If ur still in school do talent shows and things like that, find a studio and record a demo and send it 2 record labels. Get ur name out there get on the grind!!! American Idol will be good 2 or sum kind of show of that nature...

if u get signed make sure it's a right label..good luck:-)

Get a band and just start singing everywhere and anywhere until you make a name for yourself. You seem to just want it to happen overnight, but that is hardly ever the case. You gotta pay your dues first by going 'out there' and doing what you love and making it happen. If it's your true passion, then nothing will stop you. And I agree with the above comments, being signed probally won't be the highlight of a full career. It doesn't guarantee anything. But being on stage, doing what you love will guarantee your happiness.

Happy New Years!

Don't make being "signed to a label" your main goal. (It can easily be the biggest blunder of your life!) Make sure that any deal you sign is a GOOD deal, whatever kind it is, whoever it's with.

You first need to go back to school and complete basic spelling class. Then from there go to college so that when you realize you're not going to make it big in the music business you will have something to fall back on. Then you will be at equilibrium.
