Possession of 25 grams (0.9 ounces) or less of marijuana is a civil citation punishable by a $100 fine
In many other states it is required jail time or some other kind of harsh punishment. New York has been decriminalized because it is only a fine.
FYI, I have check NORML, but they do not provide the dates. I am write an article for wikipedia () and I would like to know the dates.

well it has not happend yet. fedrall laws trump state laws. so itsd still ileagle unfortunetly
