Florida has some of the lowest pay for employees in the country. I assume you mean "wages" when you say "wadges". I thought Maryland had higher standards of English than that. The medical field in Florida for medical aides, techs, etc is overpopulated. You would be lucky to earn anything over $7.50 per hour. Depending where you would live, that would not be enough to survive on. If you are earning $7.50 per hour, you are not going to have enough money to enjoy night life and things on the weekend. You will be working every hour you can in order to pay for food, insurance, car payment, gasoline, and rent - and still be broke. Traffic in the cities is terrible. The climate is hot and humid - even more humid than Maryland in July and August except Florida is humid most of the year. Relocate to South Dakota. Low cost of living, no state income tax, good job market, and friendly people (who are well educated).

Gainsville, Orlando or Daytona...You'll be right smack dab in the middle. Too far away from Ybor though. That's about two hours away. 2 1/2.
