the guy you're friends with is the guy you had a HUGE crush on and all your friends kept telling you that you should tell him that you liked him cuz everyone thought that he might like you too. and eventually you tell him and he gets pissed about it cuz a bunch of girls like him and he doesn't want to talk about it to get the whole mess behind us both. then he hurts your feelings by saying he's sick of you calling him to talk. and you can't get him to talk to you??? i know he's being an ***, but he was a really good friend of mine and i REALLY DON"T want to lose him as a friend....is there any suggestions as to saving the friendship??

Yea, that is a jeopardy when you risk friendships for romance.

My suggestion is, give him space. Just let him know you value his friendship. Give him a card that says you're there if he ever needs anything . . . as a friend.

After a period of time, if he doesn't contact you. You can go to him and arrange time alone. Then speak to him directly. let him know you asked because of peer pressure, but that you really didn't mean to jeopardize the friendship. See how he reacts.

No matter what happens through any of this, be strong and don't play any games. Always be honest with him.

I'm assuming my answer will be better than the first person's. The way to keep the friendship is to let it go a little, don't talk to him as much, don't bug him or anything, but occasionaly let him know you still care. Hope you save the friendship.

i recently had the same prob...my best friend and i tried dating didnt work out...but we had a lot of fights because he then quickly found a new g/f...but anyways time heals friendships...trust me i never thought i would get him back...but you just have to both stop being jackasses and realize that your friendship means more to you than anything. if datings not for you then fine...but if he means a lot to you...and you to him...then both of you should try your hardest to talk it out and everything will be fine

Catch him when he'z alone,
talk to him,
ask him, "Why r u acting lik thiz? How about we forget everything tht happened before and start over?"
and if he still doesn't get it,
then he'z missing out on a gud friend lik u. he'll realize his mistake some day

Well I know how that is then we found one common interest and then our friendship was sparked again.
