i like playing chords and tab and i kno the notes for the guitar lines like egbdf and face but whenever i sit down to play and see the notes on the 5 lines i have to stop and think,is their anything that can help me so when im playing guitar and i see a note i wont have to stop and think?

Well of course you have to memorize it...........................and then practice it over and over and over again..........

It just takes some practice. I can read notes real well, but once I get past the high C I start having to count up and figure out the notes, the ones higher than on the Grand Staff..

Every time u play a note say it out loud run all the notes up and down on each string on every fret, do that about 15min everyday even no its boring. it will come natural just like a keyboard on a computer. practice makes perfect good luck!

look at one song over and over and over and over and over again until you know the song by heart and then youll memorize the notes better and then wont have to stop and think

You just need to practice the song over and over again so you don't stop
