I have only heard this song a few times. It came out before 1995 and was featured on an album of various Christian contemporary artists. What I remember of the chorus is as follows:
“We like sheep have gone astray
Every one turning to his own way,
We rejected and we despised him."

The end of the song was something like this:
“And, oh, few believed him,
Who would listen, who’d be saved.
The man of many sorrows,
Christ came and…"
(I don’t quite remember)

Song was had a pretty slow tempo, male singer and if I remember correctly was done with an acoustic guitar.
Any help would be appreciated. All I have found it something by Don Moen, somebody named Handel George Frideric, Christmas music and some other odds and ends.
Thank you in advance.
