In US currency the largest note is $100. They pulled the larger notes to make it harder to launder drug money. I' ve seen a $1000 and $10,000 and they made a $100,000.

Thru the public, there was and is a $1,000 note, between banks there is a $10,000 and up, but they were only traded by banks, you can still buy them.
