Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane. Read about these two. They were a HOOT of two western characters.
I read that after the indian wars, they went around doing wild west shows on horses. She stood on a horse and with a winchester rifle, would shoot the top of sticks that people held, in the audience, with her rifle. Remember, she is on a horse that is galloping around the ring. He would stick a hatchet in the ground, and with a six-shooter, shoot at the hatchet, split the bullet, and hit two metal pans hanging several feet away, both sides of the hatchet.
Both were hard drinking, fast riding, and sharp shooting cowboys and cowgirls that took no s--- from anyone.
