i have two beautiful seven month old jills and they couldn't be any sweeter if they tried, only problem is that when ever they eat wet food they make this noise that sounds kind of like snotty nose sneezes, its almost like a sticky cough sound. it only ever lasts for about ten / fifteen mins but i'm still worried. is it normal or should i get them look at?

You shouldn't be feeding ferrets wet food. It should be dry/crunchy and GOOD quality. Water and food 24/7. Ferrets are self feeders.
They need 4-6 hrs of playtime. Litter box training. (good quality litter..NO the scoupable stuff)
They may also be allergic to their food and litter. (litter I use is recycled newspaper and food is Totally Ferret. ( I've been a ferret Mom for 16 yrs..)
Take them to the vet to rule out allergies/colds, then feed them dry food...

They should have dry good quality food [like cat biscuits] fed to them.

However ferrets can catch colds and go down hill very quickly. If it continues when they aren't eating then take them to the vets.

Im sure the noises are perfectly normal. If he did them while he was awake then I may be concerned. All animals will occassinally make noises in their sleep. Like I said, if he did it while he was awake, or it seemed like it got worse, then yea I would be worried. Im sure he is fine though..

they are probably getting it stuck up their noses.... they do tend to "dig in".... they should be big enough to eat dry, as long as u provide plenty water, but if u want, just water their dry pellets down just a bit, to make them soft, not mushy or soupy

i agree, ferrets do dig into their food, so maybe you should switch to dry food.
