If it's too soon for a pregnancy test to verify it, it is too early for the embryo to have attatched itself to the uterine wall and too early for it to be affected by substances in mom's bloodstream. MANY pregnant women panic when they realize that they had a bender before they knew, but it is not something to worry about. If you really think you might be pregnant, it is best to steer clear. Take a pregnancy test before you drink anything, though. It may not be as "early" as you think.

Writing this question only says that you at least suspect that you are pregnant. If you can live with yourself with the knowledge that you could indeed be pregnant and drink then by all means.
I drank three shots of peppermint schnapps when I was about 2 weeks along because I had a cold and that's what I would normally do to keep from coughing. I spoke with my Dr on my first visit and made sure he knew and he said baby and I should be fine just not to do it again.

If there is a chance don't drink. Head out to the drug store and pick yourself up a test, the price of the test is much more economical then caring for a brain damaged infant with fetal alcohol syndrome.

no! no alcohol, it is bad for the baby! Especially if it is so soon that you don't even know you are. That is when most birth defects can happen, When the baby just starts forming.

If you don't know there isn't much you can do about it... plenty of women drink before they know they are pregnant and everything is fine. But you still are taking a risk...

I personally wouldn't. If you feel you REALLY need to, have a glass of wine or champ. But honestly I wouldn't. Why risk your babies health if you don't have to?

If you think you might be, don't drink.
The first trimester is when the baby is most vulnerable.
Stick to Martinelli's & virgin versions of your favorite drinks.
