I watched the video of his hanging and although it is poor quality, it is still a bit disturbing. Wherever they were hanging him at did not look like anything official and the people doing it looked like some kind of militia. If I had my guess I would say that the goverment handed him over to the people for the execution. I can't help, but feel a little bad over the fact that he was killed (call it just being human) even though I know he deserved it. It is also weird to think it is all at an end, I mean Saddam is dead it's just weird to say after growing up always hearing about him in the news. I will also say that most if not all of us did not feel so badly about Saddam until after Bush pulled everyone onto the bandwagon after 9/11 in our fragile emotional states we were all in. With that said I also know he and his sons were not nice people, so the question should be, Is the world a better place?

the video of the moments before he was hung and the video of his body after was disturbing i didnt agree with that at all.
i know the man did wrong and most people i have spoke to regarding this have said he deserved it, i asked them all why and they all seemed to think he was involved in 9-11 when in actual fact this was nothing to do with saddam. i have also read that the iraqi goverment did not want to sentence saddam to execution it was the american masters. i think everyone is ignoring what the americans have done over ther and are still doing i have seen some sick video footage of what the americans are doing to innocent women, men and children! enough said.

Well he was obviously guilty and deserved imprisonment. It depends whether you agree with corporal punishment/death penalty as to the rest I suppose. I must say, I think it is sick the way his photo is being passed around on the media announcing his execution - almost like a victory for the US - its really really sick. There should never be any video footage circulated however minimal - I saw a small clip on the news this morning of him being led up to the noose. Everyone deserves some dignity in death, what the media does makes us look like blood lusty savages as an audience.

I do not want to get into the argument about capital punishment as I feel we have no right to criticise the legal system of another country, but I do feel diminished by this act; sociey is diminished by it and those who cheer at the killing of another human being are moral pygmies.
The injudicious way in which this particular case was handled and the rush to judgement and execution amounted to little more than a lynching. While this was being carried out, George Bush went to bed leaving instructions not to be disturbed till morning.
I trust he slept well.

I suspect that Bush has now pleased his father.
Whilst I weep no tears for Saddam Hussein, his punishment is now ended, and that is one of the reasons I oppose execution.
I would have preferred to try him for every crime, then transport him to the USA or some other country he hated and imprison him amongst his enemies, a far worse punishment in his eyes than cracking his neck on the end of a rope.

How might want to helping a fashionable assassin ever be "moral" (except, for sure, contained in the eyes of politicians who stood to line their wallet nicely from such institutions)? I heard there change right into a photo circulating on youtube various years in the past that confirmed a photo from 1991 of Osama bin encumbered sitting at a picnic table at Bush's Crawford Ranch in Texas. Ten years later, he's global Enemy #a million. If that photo change into real (i might want to in no way locate it), what the hell extremely is going on?

It does not make any difference if the intentions of America is to see Iraq united. But if the intentions are to divide(which seems to be the real case),his hanging would accelerate the process.
But Saddam Hussien would always be laughing at Bush-I and Bush-II from his grave.Bush-II will be remembered as a leader who brought down a superpower.Hussien will be remembered as a strong leader who bullied a superpower.

Saddam...was this not all about 9-11, and a person by the name of Bin Ladin...?
President Bush was lied to about Iraq having 'weapons of mass destruction' , the real reason the USA became involved...
Then there was this thing about 'weapons of mass destruction'...that he did not have...and you know Saddam Hussein did tell the truth about that issue...another Jesus Christ ?
As a Christian it is shame to see any person 'executed'....but then the devil rules this world...
see for yourself...how he had deceived this world...do you know the story of Adam and Eve...well we still are deceived about The Truth, ie Knowledge...we are not God to know the Truth, and politicians manipulate parts of it, like those above...
Welcome to the dark side of truth, the devils domain...

If he really is dead and there has not been another cover up good riddance.
However he had a much better death than the people he gassed and tortured and,I think he should have been made to,at the least, say he was sorry, the video should not be passed around purely for the pleasure of others otherwise,it was all a waste of time and,I think Mugabe should be next.

The REAL video was sick because we are not used to it. But, I watched Nick Berg being beheaded (wish I didn't). This is how they operate over there and who are we to say different. I just think of all those who lost loved ones because of that tyrant. May they RIP.
