Hey darl
Its ok to eat chicken you just need to be cautious... Make sure the chicken is throughly cooked (limits risk of salmanela sp?) and if you buy a roast chicken from a shop try to buy the whole chicken and not pieces...
good luck

Yes at that stage about all my wife ate was chicken. She had gestational diabetes and had to follow a diet from the ob-gyn and chicken was about the only thing on it she liked. Shake-n-bake skinless chicken thighs mostly.

Chicken is just fine for pregnant women, just make sure it is cooked properly. Also, for the comment on fish - fish is actually a wonderful source of protein and nutrients during pregnancy. Studies have even been done that show babys whose mom's consumed fish in the 2nd and 3rd trimester had higher IQ scores. The problem with fish is mercury, but you just have to know what types of fish to avoid. If you are interested in eating fish, check this out --

Good luck!
