I will say Love just for its lasting power. It can ebb and flow in its strength, but it takes a mighty drought to dry it up.
(hate in short term can be as terrifying as a blackened spring sky before a storm though)

Both! Although hate may come across as a more powerful emotion. Hatred make people tell lies or spill secrets. But love is more enduring and patient. People tend to give up revenge plans more readily than "love plans"! Happy New Year!

I can't think of anything that I hate..... ok maybe liver. **shudders**
So I'd have to say that love is a tremendous motivator for me. If I care about something with an extreme passion.... nothing will drag me away from doing what I need to do to help it thrive.

Hate. People are easy to be angry and love is an emotion that takes time and work. It's so easy to get mad and have a subject to project it to.

Love...
When you are filled with love, it gives you the optimistic feeling that you can and will change the world.
Hate implies an acceptance of circumstances...

Either really. They are both strong emotions on the same coin. The opposite to both is simply indifference.
