How about a trip in a hot air balloon for you both or a short flight in a cessna or glider. Pretty exciting and enjoyable but may be a little out of your price range. Maybe a parachute jump but I don't know if there is an age restriction-or his parents may object.

The ideal gift for anyone is something that means something to them. Pay attention to conversations you have with that person, people always talk about what they want or need. They talk about things they wish they had or how they wish they had something to make something else easier... They talk about thinks they like...
If you pay attention you should know what to give. Get him something you would want that you know he doesn't have. Your the same age, what's cool?
Wanting to give a gift doesnt make you gay. Hugging doesnt make you gay. That's really ignorant and stupid.

Well depends on his age, if he's like a teenager you can probably get him computer games or a football t-shirt of his favourite team.
Well if he's in his 20's you can get him some aftershave or if he's working you can get him a really kool tie.
