Watching TV with him! I can never watch a whole show all the way through. He has the remote, and with every single commercial, he flips thru the channels. Usually ends up watching something else. I never know what we're watching! Drives me nuts.

Yep...my fella is just the same with the remote--it is a guy thing, I guess...but I'd be in Heaven if...if....if....if he'd help me make the bed, or ever take out the trash, or carry in the groceries, or run a bath for me, or remember my birthday, or not give me a sour grapes look when I am right, or put gas in my car for me...
...but NO! he can stand in the kitchen door and WATCH me struggle to put away groceries that I have dragged in, and sit and look at me as I try to fold the King size bed linens all alone ( I am only 4'8"!!!)...and I cannot even reach all the way across the bed!!!!

It just FEELS like EVERYTHiNG is up to me to get it done!!!

That is enough out of me, he gave me a nice Christmas card, and I did not have to cook today--he had a sandwich!
Happy New year!!!

That he takes over the tv even if I am in the middle of watching a show,he will grab the remote and change it. There are 2 tv in this house and he can't seem to go into the other room and use it.

The TV thing, and the fact that he calls watching his own kids "babysitting". Why the hell is it that when we watch our kids, it's expected of us, but as soon as we want to go to the store or run errands, hubby gets a call from a friend and you hear this "Can't right now man, I'm babysitting". It's kinda like husbands sometimes act like the annoyed big brother who can't play football with friends because he has to babysit the younger siblings.

I also watch 20 shows in 10 min. He'll go fix his mothers house but won't do a thing at home. He's to tired to watch his own children but will walk a river to go fishing. He doesn't know how to put the seat up or down when he remembers to put it up. HE SNORES!! But what can you do? We love the fools.

OOOOhhh. Been there, doing that. That's probably why I don't watch TV anymore. Even if the tv's on, i have to be doing something else- reading, cross stitch, sewing something, answering people's questions on yahoo... you get the point.

I have the opposite problem with my spouse. He forces me to watch his stupid endless DVDs from Netflix, night after night. When I actually enjoy one of his DVDs, he says, "See! See! I knew you'd like it!" like he's doing a victory-dance! If I leave the room to go do some housework or read a book, he acts all offended. Grrr ...
