Hmm. Well...since I already work with teenage boys....I will say boys between 13-18. Why? I took the job to get off of unemployment. I never thought that I would stay there for more than 2 years. If I had a choice, I would not work with kids AND I would get paid 10 a hour if I did.

I would like them to work as soon as they are legal to work. It might sound harsh, but I really want them to learn a value of a dollar. As a teenager growing up my parents handed us everything. Anything we wanted we got; I would buy several hundred dollars worth of clothes each weekend and I didn’t learn a thing about managing money. So I don’t want my kids to grow up thinking that money falls from the sky. I really want them to get the concept of how hard it is to earn money and why it’s important to get an education and so forth. Besides, I think having them working at an earlier age gives them job and life experiences, and teaches them responsibility. It’ll help them easier adjust to the real world.

I work with teenagers at a high school. It's a wonderful age group to work with, and I love it. Have been doing it for almost 8 years.
Little preschool or kindergarten kids are great, 'tho, too.
Nice question!

3-4 years old because they are at their peak age of learning.
They can be educated and will listen to you.
