aside from tape, isn't there another way to stick the background to the back of the tank glass itself so that it looks real and eliminating the reflection? Thanks

I always spray down the back of the tank with water before putting the background on. This causes the background to "stick" to the back of the tank. Then I use scotch tape on the edges to keep the background on the tank.

Glue. I think, because doesn't glue dry clear? If you are looking for less permanent results, maybe there is some self sticking backgrounds. But, if you cant use any of these, just tape it, but put the tape around the back and comeing onto the sides. That way, the tape is not disrupting to background. And maybe a higher quality of background is needed.

I spray the background with water and then stick it to the back of the tank. I also use tape to hold it on place.

DO NOT USE GLUE, or any other stuff like that. The chemicals in the glue will kill your fish really quick. Just use a clean spray bottle with water in it and spray the background generously with it. Then apply the background to the back of the tank (outside). Then use a small squidgy to remove the bubbles. Good luck. Be patient.

There are some backgrounds that are made to stick on the inside of the tank on the glass. Or you could just glue the background you have to the glass....or just paint the glass.

Cooking oil and vaseline stick the background to the back of the tank and eliminates any bubbles that may hurt the appearance.
