Hii.... This may sound a little pathetic,
But I honetsly don't know what to do...
I have been homeschooled for the past 4 in half years,
And I just moved to El cajon in San Diego,
And I am having serious issues with meeting new friends,
I just don't know how to socialize and meet new people!
I don't know what to say, And I dont know how to start up conversation without seeming like a total homeschooled dork.
I also don't know where to go to meet people around this town, it's a really big town, but I still don't know how to meet people or where!

Please help if you can, any sugestions would be great! thanks a million.

Find an activity that you're good at, like math or volleyball, and compliment others when they do a good job. Ask them about how they learned to do it, and that should lead to more talking. Just relax and enjoy the people you're with. Good luck.

that is the way it is with most home schoolers they excel in thier studies and they never develop any social skills. but i totally agree with the girl above as far as sports go people love sports and they really get in to them even if they dont play the sport they go watch and you would be able to meet all different kinds of people but do be careful there are alot of nuts out there and you have been very sheltered being home schooled i mean and some people will take advantage of you being nieve.

I kind of know how you feel. I'm also homeschooled. I've met people through homeschool groups and a ton of friends through soccer and other things. I recomend getting involved in a sport. Also be careful who you choose to be your friends, make sure their not going to be people to get you in trouble.
