2. Not extremely expensive.
3. Is there anything good thats not 1080p cuz those are real expensive. and will it still look good.

a 16:9, @least 720p to 1080p crt tv w/ a good refresh rate and your all set. or go with a Samsung LN-S2351W. good luck.

I have one thing to tell you about the right TV for playing video games. Don't use a rear-projection TV that has a plastic screen. The video game will burn the plastic screen. I'm not even joking. Plus, I wouldn't reccommend rear-projection TVs for anything. They're all useless pieces of junk.
