NOPE --
but the funny story about breaking bed frames happened when my over 200 lb teenage son (now living independently) decided he could just launch himself from the door of the bedroom to the bed (like when he was 7-8 years old). Needless to say there was a LOT of snapping and cracking wood ... he broke all the support beams on that bed.
Then this very UPSET and ANGRY single mom went to the local lumber yard -- purchased enough wood to make 6 support beams (double what was originally sold with the bed, and extra footers for each of the beams now) .. and yes, I did sand, stain, cut, screw into the siderails (which I repaired), and then put the bedspring/mattress back on the NEWLY beefed up frame ... (which looks like a little fort underneath now!)
he was upset because I MADE him turn over his paycheck to pay for the WOOD and hardware that I used ... I was STILL upset because I paid for the bed in the first place, and then did the work in MY workshop to REBUILD that bed I purchased!

Knocked out the slats from under the boxspring, if that counts.
Kept going, too, though precariously perched on a tilting surface.
Almost forgot about that. lol

me and my sister was fighting and fell on the bed and broke it.
My folks was real mad. Took the bed away and got this metal frame that you put a box spring and mattress on and it has casters you can move it. So it is pretty cool. With a metal head board. Now I can tie her up to the head board. Love those looping metal headboards.
