well i took South Haven, Kansas as the starting point to Gainesville, TX as the ending point. That's about a straight line from bottom of KS to top of TX and Google maps told me it's about 250 miles.

But Wichita to Dallas is about 360 miles.

Distance between Wichita, Kansas, United States and Dallas, Texas, United States, as the crow flies:
339 miles (545 km)

Meaning without any roadblocks..basically just flying over everything in between :)

Ks: lat1,long1
Tx: lat2,long2
sqrt:((cos:lat1+((lat1-lat2)/2))*(long1-long2))^2+(lat1-lat2)^2=Deg
(Deg*60)=distance nautical miles
