First May be your dad has some spy program set on your PC. and in that case he will not know when you sat down to your PC but also what do you do and write, your mail password, site visited, every single move you do. i can't help you more about these programs cuz, there's a million of it,

2nd you could try to delete your browsing temporary files, by going to internet option and instead of deleting browsing, you'll find a tap saying "delete files" that's on"internet explorer" at mozilla you'll find delete cash also at the option tab.

you've to know that the key of your father investigation is the time, there are many program logging the times it lunches and time it close as the modem log on the system and so many...

The key... is to buy a new hard disk for your own and setup all what you wanna on it and plug it when you need... you can make what you want no one never know

Note: my own opinion is to obey your father, I am sure he knows more than you, and he wants the sake for you

THIS IS A SHORTCUT. Press Ctrl (on the right side of the keyboard two buttons down from enter) and at the same time press H. it will bring up the history. Right click and you can delete it.

for enternet explorer, theres a button on the top of the taskbar that has like a clock with a green arrow. click that and it will appear. feel free to delete it that way
for firefox theres a taskbar option that was go. scroll down to history and same concept applies.

Why would you go on sites your Dad disapproves of?
He probably owns the computer so you do as you are told and if he has any computer savvy, he can track your surfing regardless of what you delete because it is still on your hard drive and can be found:)
